MDÁ 2022
Back 2 Basics
This year was about revisiting the spirit of the first edition of MDÁ, utilizing photography, simple forms & exploring with different combinations of mediums. Most importantly exploring the use of primary colors, quite literally going back 2 basics.
This year's new addition was experimentation with being more vulnerable. By writing poetry & putting my emotions and thoughts in a more literal fashion in form of haiku's. Granted this was my first foray into the discipline, the purist in me wants to delve deeper into the art form and do it "properly". Definitely something I will do more of in the future.

Thus concludes the 9th installment of MDÁ. It has been a helluva ride over the past nine years just showing up & creating something meaningful to me every single year. I wish to continue this project indefinitely. That being said, year 10 has to be a gotdam banger. See ya later ;3
